My research interest covers material characterization and chemical analyses including scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman spectroscopy, gas chromatography (GC) and N2 sorption analyses. Moreover, I have skills and hands-on experiments in X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) including in situ and ex situ techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, I also have experience with porous material syntheses & modification for the removal of heavy metals e.g. calcite, microporous and mesoporous zeolites, and carbon-based materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Current responsibilities: <\/strong>Research developement and service in the fields of environment and archaeology using nuclear techniques<\/p>\n\n\n\n
